Kevin Thetford Curriculum Vitae
Hi, I’m Kev, a happy, confident, diligent person; who is enthusiastic, determined and
results-oriented.
I work exceptionally well within a team environment and use my own initiative effectively during solo projects.

I am family-oriented, valuing the strength and support that spending time with my wife and son affords me. We share our home with our adventurous puppy, Charlie, who shares my fondness for biscuits.
Outside of work, family and friends, my interests include:
During my time volunteering with the Scout Association as a Cub Scout Leader; planning and organising weekly activities and trips that were engaging, followed safety guidelines and enabled the Cubs to progress their skills, attain badges and develop friendships.
Alongside leadership qualities, this role further developed my ability to see the “bigger picture”, managing stressful situations, in a clear-headed and safety aware way; whilst remaining focussed.
I have designed and developed websites for family, friends and acquaintances. One of the best projects I worked on was building a website for the Scout Association in Oldham oldhamscouts.co.uk. I continue to maintain and update this responsive WordPress site. The site utilises a customised theme.
As an avid reader, I enjoy many genres, though one could say, I was a true “Geek” loving all things Sci-Fi/fantasy related, especially Terry Pratchett books, Star Wars, and Marvel.
I have been building computers and constructing Lego, alongside various electronics projects for most of my life. I find this very therapeutic and appreciate the complex simplicity of these.
This has led to the completion of several projects, various robots and Comic-Con props over the years, including a “Gandalf Staff” with lights and sound.
